About Dr. Sardone

Thomas Edison is credited as once saying, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the cause and prevention of disease," and there are no other words that describe Dr. Sardone’s practice over the last 29 years more completely.
After years of post-graduate study, research and clinical application, Dr. Sardone founded the Do It Right Health & Fitness Program. Since, he has helped hundreds of overweight, obese and unhealthy patients achieve optimum health through the integration of nutrition, fitness and physical medicine.

After studying biological sciences at USC and later at UCLA, Dr. Sardone realized his passion was in functional and preventative medicine. He pursued his calling by attending the Southern California University of Health Sciences receiving his doctorate in chiropractic medicine in 1980. After which, Dr. Sardone completed a two year integrative program at the International Chiro-Medical Institute in Milan, Italy, one of the first institutions to integrate allopathic and complimentary medicine. He holds numerous post-graduate certifications and specializes in orthopedics, lifestyle and weight-loss management, nutrition and fitness. He has testified on numerous occasions as a medical expert and has lectured extensively regarding physical and complimentary medicine standards of care and wellness.

Dr. Sardone is married to Grace and together they have three children, and they all reside in Del Mar, California. He has recently completed writing a new book titled, The Naked Truth: Overweight, Overwhelmed and Confused.
